Quality policy

Quality

Respect for quality and the search for continuous improvement are at the heart of TIMAB Magnesium.
Complying with benchmarks and customers demands is at the heart of what TIMAB Magnesium’s quality department does.
In agricultural applications, for animal nutrition and plant nutrition, TIMAB Magnesium is FCA and ISO 9001 certified. The scope of the certification includes all subsidiaries and wholesale activities.
In the field of industrial applications too, our Quality department holds daily discussions with our integrated as well as approved factories to ensure perfect production control.

Our Quality scheme is not only a performance tool, it is also a general state of mind within the business.

Demanding suppliers partnerships

In addition to its integrated mining and industrial activity, TIMAB Magnesium also has conducts major wholesale business.

This involves work in advance such as research, selection and monitoring of suppliers in order to establish long-term partnerships.

Delivering faultless quality products in total compliance with regulatory requirements is our priority. This is why we carry out a mandatory approval process before working with any new factory. This first key stage enables us  to guarantee that every product put on the market complies both in terms of regulations and quality.

Traceability is ensured on a daily basis

Keen to achieve food safety targets and to comply with the requirements of hygiene measures (regulation 178/2002), traceability is guaranteed for each stage of the process:

  • Production
  • Storage
  • Transport

The control plans for our products are based on our HACCP audit. These are adapted to the final application of the product and its chemical family. Depending on criticality and markets, some of our products undergo clearance tests.
