A SOURCE OF SOLUBLE MAGNESIUM
HEPTALYTE is a natural magnesium salt from a salt lake. Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate is fine crystal (MgSO4.7H2O) that are instantly soluble in water. Hence the name, composed of the prefix “HEPTA” meaning seven, and “-LYTE” for its ability to dissolve. Perfect for foliar application or fertirrigation, HEPTALYTE provides the plant with nutrients, sulphur (SO42-) and magnesium (Mg2+), in ionic forms that are rapidly assimilated. Magnesium being the central atom of chlorophyll, it enables this photoreceptor to initiate photosynthesis to provide the whole plant with the energy necessary for its development.

A NATURAL MAGNESIUM SALT
HEPTALYTE from salt ponds of the Mediterranean rim is obtained by a thermal process. In a first step, the saline solution is concentrated thanks to the heat of the sun which evaporates the water from the pond. This first step results in a liquid phase with a high concentration of Mg2+ and SO42- ions. This saline solution, also called brine, is cooled to allow the magnesium and sulphate ions to combine into HEPTALYTE crystals which are then separated from the liquid phase, centrifuged, and dried. This thermal process, without the use of chemical agents, allows the product to be used in Organic Agriculture (in accordance with the European regulation EC 834/2007).
EFFECTIVELY CORRECTS MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCIES
Applied as a foliar spraying HEPTALYTE is quickly absorbed by the leaf surface to effectively correct the appearance ofmagnesium deficiency, or to complement soil fertilization. Supplying magnesium directly to the leaves (the site ofphotosynthesis) allows the plant to save the energy required for root absorption and transport of this nutrient, whileeliminating the problem of antagonism with other soil nutrients.
